Concept & Kitchen

Fresh cuisine seven days a week, with a focus on seasonal and regional ingredients – that is what CHIPPS is all about. We convince with high-quality, freshly made dishes: whether it’s breakfast for a high-energy start to the day, a light lunch or a special dinner. Meat and fish feature on our menu as side orders, are prepared separately and served on an extra plate. The weekly changing lunch menu is offers diverse seasonal and and regional meals. Our selected evening menu is exchanging monthly and guarantees a fine selection of hommade and saisonal products of the best quality. In addition there is the CHIPPS Deluxe menu, a 4 course menu including selected wines, which meets the standards of creative high end cuisine.

CHIPPS on Jägerstrasse
CHIPPS is situated in a quiet yet central location in the heart of Berlin-Mitte. High panoramic windows look out onto the grassy verge behind the Foreign Office. Diners can enjoy their meals on the sunny terrace: weather permitting. The open show kitchen, where diners can watch their dishes being prepared, is the restaurant’s centerpiece.

Cookie & Stephan

Together they made cookies cream, launched in 2007, the best vegetarian restaurant in Berlin – and Cookie and Stephan are working as a team once again at CHIPPS.

During the last 19 years Cookie has not only made his cookies club an institution in Berlin’s nightlife, but also organised different projects including everything from bars to large events between Germany and New York.

Stephan Hentschel worked as a chef at Noi Quattro before becoming head chef at cookies cream in 2007. For cream the 30-year-old was awarded 1.5 F's from German gourmet magazine Feinschmecker and is known for his innovative high end vegetarian cuisine.
